The surge protector wears out after overloads. When the indicator now changes color, replace the shield. You can connect wires from your alarm terminal to the DI pins of a camera so you can receive notifications when
the shield wears out. Check the surge protector, especially after a lightning strike. You can retrieve the related alarm by setting an event via email, FTP, etc.
