Important Safety Instructions
• The instrument may be used only for measuring body temperature!
• The minimum measurement time until the beep is heard must be maintained
without exception!
• The battery is well sealed inside the thermometer to reduce the risk to be
swallowed by children.
• Protect the instrument from impact and dropping!
• Avoid ambient temperatures above 60 °C. NEVER boil the instrument!
• Use only the commercial disinfectants listed in the section
• «Cleaning and Disinfecting» to clean the instrument. The instrument must be
intact when immersed in liquid disinfectant.
• We recommend this instrument is tested for accuracy every two years or after
mechanical impact (e.g. being dropped).
Batteries and electronic instruments must be disposed of in accordance with the
locally applicable regulations, not with domestic waste.
Read the instructions carefully before using this device.
Type BF applied part
Turning on the Thermometer
To turn on the thermometer, press the ON/OFF button

; a short beep si-
gnals «thermometer ON». A display test is performed. All segments should
be displayed. Then at an ambient temperature of less than 32 °C, an «L»
and a flashing «°C» appear at the display field

. The thermometer is
now ready for use.
Function Test
Correct functioning of the thermometer is tested automatically each time it
is turned on. If a malfunction is detected (measurement inaccuracy), this is
indicated by «ERR» on the display, and a measurement becomes impossible.
In this case, the thermometer must be replaced.
Using the Thermometer
Choose the preferred measuring method. When taking a measurement, the
current temperature is continuously displayed and the «°C» symbol flashes.
If the beep is heard 10 times and the «°C» is no longer flashing, this means
that the measured increase in temperature is less than 0.1 °C in 16 seconds
and that the thermometer can now be read. To prolong the battery life, turn
off the thermometer by briefly pressing the ON/OFF button

. Otherwise the
thermometer will automatically turn off after about 10 minutes.
Storage of Measured Values
If the ON/OFF button

is pressed for more than 3 seconds when turning on
the thermometer, the automatically stored maximum temperature during the
last measurement will be displayed. At the same time, a «M» for memory will
appear on the display. About 2 seconds after the button is released, the tem-
perature value disappears and the thermometer is ready for measurement.
Measuring Methods
In the mouth (oral) -
Position the thermometer in one of the two pockets
under the tongue, to the left or right of the root of the tongue. The measuring

must be in good contact with the tissue. Close your mouth and
breathe evenly through the nose to prevent the measurement from being
influenced by inhaled/ exhaled air.
Approx. measuring time: 1 minute!
In the anus (rectal) -
This is the most reliable measuring method, and is
especially suit- able for infants and small children. Carefully insert the measu-
ring sensor

of the thermometer 2 to 3 cm into the anal aperture.

In the armpit (axillary) -
To receive more reliable results we recommend
to measure temper- ature orally or rectally. A minimum measurement time of
3-5 minutes is recommended regardless of the beep sound.

Cleaning and Disinfecting
Name: Isopropyl alcohol 70 %; immerse: max. 24 hours.
Battery Exhaustion
When the « » symbol (upside-down triangle) appears on the right side of the
display, the battery is exhausted and the thermometer needs to be replaced.
For battery disposal please refer to «Important Safety Instructions».

Instructions de sécurité importantes
• L’appareil doit être utilisé pour mesurer la température corporelle !
• La durée minimum de mesure doit être sans exception jusqu’à ce qu’on en-
tende le son ‘’bip’’ !
• La batterie est installée solidement dans le thermomètre pour éviter que les
enfants l’avalent.
• Evitez d’exposer l’appareil aux chocs et aux chutes !
• Veillez à ce que la température de l’environnement ne dépasse pas 60°C. Ne
faites absolument pas bouillir l’appareil !
• Pour le nettoyage de l’appareil, utiliser les produits désinfectant indiqués dans la
rubrique ‘’Nettoyage et Désinfection de l’Appareil’’ en vente dans le commerce.
Ne touchez pas l’appareil immergé dans le désinfectant.
•
Nous vous conseillons de vérifier le bon fonctionnement de l’appareil tous les
deux ans ou en cas d’exposition à un choc mécanique (par exemple chute).
Les piles et les composants électroniques ne doivent pas être jetés dans la poubelle
mais être éliminés selon la réglementation en vigueur.
Avant de commencer à utiliser l‘appareil, lisez attentivement les instructions.

Mise en marche du thermomètre
Pour mettre le thermomètre en marche, appuyez sur le bouton MARCHE/
ARRET

; un court son de signal « bip » est émis et un test de l’écran est fait
avec l’apparition de l’image « thermomètre en MARCHE ». Tous les symboles
doivent apparaître sur l’écran. Ensuite, dans un environnement en dessous
de 32°C, la lettre « L » ainsi que un signe « °C » clignotant apparaissent sur
l’écran

. Le thermomètre est désormais prêt à l’emploi.
Test de Fonctionnement
Le thermomètre est testé automatiquement à chaque mise en marche. En cas
de la constatation d’une anomalie, (comme la mesure incorrecte), le symbole
‘’ERR’’ s’affiche sur l’écran, la mesure n’est plus possible. Dans ce cas il faut
remplacer le thermomètre.
Utilisation du thermomètre
Sélectionnez la méthode de mesure souhaitée. Pendant la mesure, la
température présente s’affiche en permanence et le symbole « °C » clignote.
Lorsqu’on entend 10 émissions de « bip » et que le symbole « °C » ne
clignote plus, cela veut dire que l’augmentation de température tous les 16
secondes est en dessous de 0.1°C et le thermomètre peut être maintenant
lu. Pour assurer la longévité de la pile, arrêtez le thermomètre en appuyant
rapidement sur le bouton MARCHE/ARRET

. Dans le cas contraire le ther-
momètre s’arrêtera automatiquement environ 10 minutes plus tard.
Valeurs de mesures en mémoire
Dans le cas où le bouton MARCHE/ARRET
1
du thermomètre est tenu
appuyé pendant plus de 3 secondes lors de l’allumage du thermomètre, la
température maximum prise lors de la dernière mesure apparaît automa-
tiquement sur l’écran. En même temps le symbole de mémoire « M » apparaît
sur l’écran. Environ 2 secondes après avoir relâché le bouton, la valeur de la
température apparaît et le thermomètre est prêt à l’emploi.
Méthodes de Mesure
Par la Bouche (Orale) -
Installez le thermomètre à droite ou à gauche dans
le creux au fond sous la langue. Le capteur de mesure

doit nécessairement
toucher le tissu cellulaire. Respirer régulièrement par le nez en fermant votre
bouche pour éviter les effets de la respiration sur la mesure.
Durée approxima-
tive de la mesure : 1 minute !
Par l’anus (rectale) -
C’est la méthode de mesure la plus sûre et convient
en particulier pour les bébés et les petits enfants. Enfoncez le capteur de mesure

du thermomètre 2-3 cm à l’intérieur de l’anus.

Sous l’aisselle (Aisselle) -
Pour obtenir des meilleurs résultats nous vous
conseillons des prises de mesures par la bouche ou par l’anus. Malgré le « bip
» qu’on entend nous vous conseillons une durée de mesure de 3-5 minutes.
Durée approximative de la mesure : 1 minute !
Nettoyage et désinfection
Nom du produit : alcool isopropylique à 70% ; durée d’immersion: maximum
24 heures.
Changement de batteries
Le symbole « » qui apparaît sur l’écran indique que la batterie est épuisée.
Remplacez-la. Consultez la rubrique « Instructions de Sécurité Importantes ».

Termometreyi açmak için, AÇ/KAPA düğmesine basın

İşlev Testi
Termometre, her açıldığında doğru çalışıp çalışmadığı otomatik olarak test edilir.
Herhangi bir aksaklık algılanırsa (ölçümün doğru olmaması gibi), bu durum

Инструкции по технике безопасности
• Прибор может использоваться только для измерения температуры тела!
• Минимальное время измерения, без исключения, должно быть до
появления звукового сигнала “бип”!
• Батарея внутри термометра должна быть хорошо закрыта, чтобы уменьшить
риск быть проглоченной детьми.
• Термометр должен быть защищен от падений и ударов!
• Избегайте температуры окружающей среды выше 60°С. НИКОГДА не
кипятите прибор!
• Для очистки инструмента необходимо использовать только предлагаемые
к продаже на рынке дезинфицирующие средства, перечисленные в разделе
“Очистка и дезинфекция”. При погружении прибора в дезинфицирующий
раствор, не надо трогать его голыми руками.
• Мы рекомендуем проверять точность прибора на каждые два года или после
каждого механического воздействия (например, падения).
Не выбрасывать батарейки и электронные приборы с общим мусором, их следует
утилизировать соответствующим образом в соответствии с действующими
нормами и правилами.
Внимательно прочитайте инструкцию перед использованием данного прибора.

Включение термометра
Чтобы включить термометр, нажмите кнопку включения/выключения

; после того как прозвучит короткий звуковой сигнал “бип”, на дисплее
появляется надпись “thermometer ON”, выполняется тестирование дисплея.
Все сегменты должны быть отображены на дисплее. Затем, при температуре
окружающей среды менее 32°С, на дисплее отображаются буква “L” и
мигающий символ “°С”

. Таким образом термометр готов к использованию.
Проверка работоспособности
Правильное функционирование термометра проверяется автоматически
при каждом включении. Если обнаружена неисправность (погрешность
измерения), то это отображается на дисплее символом “ERR”, при этом,
невозможно выполнить измерение. В этом случае, термометр должен быть
заменен.
Использование термометра
Выберите нужный метод измерения. В процессе измерения, на дисплее
непрерывно отображаются текущая температура и мигающий символ “°С”.
Если услышите 10 раз звуковой сигнал “бип” и символ “°С” больше не мигает,
это означает, что диапазон измеряемых температур составляет менее чем 0,1°С
за 16 секунд, и что теперь можно отсчитывать показания термометра. Чтобы
продлить срок службы батареи, выключите термометра кратким нажатием
на кнопку “Вкл./Выкл.”

. В противном случае, термометр выключится
автоматически примерно через 10 минут.
Значения сохраненных в памяти результатов измерений
При включенном термометре в нормальном режиме работы, удерживайте
кнопку “Вкл./Выкл.”

отображается максимальная температура, которая сохранена во время
последнего измерения. В то же время, на дисплее отображается символ “М”,
указывающий на ссылку в памяти. Около 2 секунд после отпускания кнопки,

Методы измерений
Через рот (орально)
- Расположите термометр в одном из двух карманов
под язык, слева или справа от корня языка. Измерительный датчик

должен находиться в хорошем контакте с тканью. Закройте рот и дышите
равномерно через нос, чтобы предотвратить воздействия вдыхаемого /
выдыхаемого воздуха на показатели измерения.

Через анальное отверстие (ректально)
- Это наиболее надёжный способ
измерения, в особеноности рекомендуемый для младенцев и маленьких
детей. В данном случае следует осторожно ввести измерительный датчик

термометра на 2-3 см в анальное отверстие.

Через подмышечную впадину (аксиллярно)
- Данный способ,
как правило, не обеспечивает нужной точности показаний, поэтому
рекомендуется измерение температуры тела оральным или ректальным
методом. Рекомендуется соблюдать минимальное время измерения 3-5
минут, независимо от звукового сигнала “бип”.

Очистка и дезинфекция
Название: изопропиловый спирт 70%; время погружения в дезинфицирующий
раствор : макс.24 часа
Истечение срока действия батареи
Появление в правом нижнем углу дисплея символа « » (вниз головой
треугольник) означает, что батарея исчерпала свой ресурс. Термометр
нуждается в замене батарейки. По вопросам утилизации батареи см.
“Инструкции по технике безопасности”.
