When using the brush cutter, you should take into
consideration some precautions and use procedures to
avoid accidents, damage and increase the performance
and efficiency of the equipment:
▪
Ensure that you start the brush cutter at a distance of
more than 3m from the fuelling point;
▪
Always hold the brush cutter on your right side with both
hands;
▪
Keep the cutting attachments below waist level, thus
reducing the risk of being hit during operation;
▪
Do not use the appliance to cut branches or logs. If you
try to cut logs above the recommended size, kickback
can occur and cause accidents to the user;
▪
When the brush cutter is running at idle speed, the
cutting attachment is not rotating. If not, contact service
center to carry out an inspection and solve the problem;
▪
If you hear an unusual noise or the brush cutter vibrates
abnormally, stop working and identify the cause;
▪
Never use the brush cutter if the guard is not installed or
if it is damaged.
1. Set the CHOKE lever to closed position. Pull the choke
lever all the way up. If the engine is warm or the air
temperature is high, do not set the CHOKE lever to closed
position;
2. Press the carburettor primer bulb several times until it is
filled with petrol. Check that the fuel line is full, then the
carburettor is full of fuel;
3. Turn the ON/OFF switch to the "I" position;
4. Hold the brush cutter with one hand and pull the recoil
starter. Pull slowly until you feel some resistance, then
pull strongly until the engine starts;
5. After starting the engine, the brush cutter runs at idle
speed;
6. A few seconds after starting, set the CHOKE lever to open
position. Move the CHOKE lever all the way down.
When the recoil starter returns to its original
position, your hand and arm can be drawn quickly
towards the combustion engine.
Let the engine running idle for a few seconds
before operating the brush cutter.
1. Release the throttle trigger and set the "ON/OFF" switch
to the "0" position.
In case of imminent danger or emergency, stop the engine
immediately. Turn the ON/OFF switch to the
“0" position.
After starting, the engine runs at idle speed.
Use the throttle lever to adjust the rotation speed of the
engine and cutting attachments.
To start using the cutting attachments:
1. Press the throttle trigger locking lever and throttle
trigger simultaneously. The locking lever prevents
accidental activation of the throttle;
2. When the throttle trigger is fully pressed, the engine
reaches maximum speed;
3. To stop the cutting attachments, release the throttle
trigger.
Adjust the engine's rotation speed to the type of work you
are going to do. Always remember that the higher the
engine speed, the greater the speed of the cutting
attachments, the greater the noise and the fuel
consumption.
Always ensure that the throttle trigger and locking
lever move freely and that the return springs work
properly.
