UltraDecoder Operators Manual

This option defines the IPv4 Address of the unit, used by external devices to connect to it 
via SNMP or a web browser for remote configuration. 

 

CAUTION: When modifying this option, the IPv4 address for the ETH. 2 connector 

automatically change to this value + 1. Before attempting to adjust this value, 
ensure that ETHERNET CONTROL and ETH. 2 are connected to the same network. 

 

This option defines the subnet mask of the unit for remote configuration. 

 

This option defines the gateway of the unit for remote configuration. 

 

This option displays the MAC address of the unit. 

 

 

This option allows for a descriptive text identifier to be defined. The identifier will be 
displayed on the web GUI. This is useful if working with multiple units. 

 

 

This option displays and allows you to input new licences. Certain features in the unit will 
be unavailable, or provided with limited functionality until the relevant licence is provided. 

 

This option displays the unit’s electronic serial number, which should be quoted when 
requesting new licences. 

 

This line displays the first fourteen characters of the unit’s licence code. 

We recommend using the web GUI interface to enter a new licence using copy and paste, 
however, if you need to enter a new licence code direct, it can be entered using this 
option.  

 

CATUION: Entering an incorrect licence may render the unit inoperable. 

 

This line displays the last fourteen characters of the unit’s licence code.
