Maintenance

User Guide

Fuser

The area around the fuser is hot. To avoid a burn injury, be careful not to touch the fuser until it cools down
and follow these steps to remove the jammed paper:

CLEANING THE DEVICE

Regular maintenance of your device can help to ensure continual optimal performance.

Using a soft, lint-free cloth, wipe down all plastic surfaces on the device.

Open the

Front Cover

and the

Rear

Cover

Pull down the

Fuser Path

Pull down the

Release Arm

on both sides.

Slowly remove the jammed paper.

If the jammed paper remains difficult to
remove, remove the toner cartridge first
(from the front).

Rotate the Release Wheel towards the inside of
the device to slowly pull out the jammed paper.
