Open the automatic document feeder cover and remove any tape or protective foam from inside the feeder.
Close the feeder cover when you are finished.

Only use the power supply (DA-48M24 made by APD) included with your scanner. Connecting any other

type of power supply may damage your scanner, and will void its warranty.
