- Do not attempt to open the device. In case of problems, contact customer service.
- Do not disassemble the sensor or charging case.
- Do not expose this device to electric shocks.
- If you have any problems with this device, such as setting up, maintaining or using, please
contact customer service.
1.4. INSTALLATION AND USAGE PRECAUTIONS
- Please move the transparent label from the metal part before using the device.
- Before use, check and ensure the main device and all accessories are intact and not damaged in
any way, as use of the probe in this condition may increase likelihood of infection.
- If you feel any discomfort, stop treatment immediately.
- Place the storage case away from splashing water.
- Connect the main device and app correctly and securely.
- Always adjust the output intensity in the comfort level. If you feel uncomfortable, adjust the
output intensity or stop treatment.
- To clean the device, please consult the chapter 5.
- Do not use cream, lubricating oil or other product which can damage the device. If vaginal
environment is dry, apply a small amount of water-based lubricant to the inserting end of the
probe.
- MyPeriTens can be reused, but should be cleaned before and after each use, and used by one
individual only.
- After use, always put the device in the storage box. Do not store other objects in this box.
2. INTENTED USE
MyPeriTens is a wireless and connected pelvic floor electrostimulation device designed to treat
stress, urge and/or mixed urinary incontinence in women. It allows to rehabilitate weakened
pelvic floor muscles and to relieve pain of these pelvic floor muscles.
It may also be used by a health care provider to treat specific pelvic floor conditions by electrical
stimulation.
3. FEATURES
This device uses electrical stimulation therapy, mainly for neuromuscular stimulation. Features
are shown below:
- MyPeriTens device contains three functions: electrical stimulation (EMS and TENS), vibration
massage, and vibration guided exercise (more info in App User Manual available online)
EMS: Electrical Muscular Stimulation or NMES: NeuroMuscular Electrical Stimulation
TENS: Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation
- The Bluetooth is used to achieve wireless control and make it convenient to use with the
mobile application (available on iOS and Android).
- The BewellConnect® app named MyPeriTens will work as a remote of the MyPeriTens device and
also provide Kegel exercise programs (more information in the user manual of the application
on the website www.bewell-connect.fr ). The ergonomic design effectively prevents removal
of the vaginal probe and rotation, to ensure that treatment is effective.
- The edge is wrapped with silicone to ensure a comfortable touch when treating.
- The waterproof level rating of MyPeriTens reaches IP56, to ensure that it is convenient to clean.
4. USE
4.1. SUGGESTIONS BEFORE USE
4.1.1. INDICATOR DESCRIPTION
MyPeriTens has two different indicator lights;
- One is the orange/blue light on the vaginal probe;
- The other one is the orange/green light on the charging case.
1. Function of indicator light on probe
- When the device is turned on without a Bluetooth connection, the blue light flashes
- When the device successfully connects with Bluetooth, the blue light stays on
- The orange light means low battery, it will flash for 10 seconds then device will turn off
2. Function of indicator light on the charging case
- Still under charging mode: Orange light
- Charging completed: Green light
- When probe is not positioned correctly, the green light will last for a long time and orange light
will flash; you should replace the probe in the charging case and connect the USB cable again.
4.1.2. CHARGING
DO NOT USE THE PROBE WHILE CHARGING.
Before first use, charge the device completely for approximately 3 hours, at room
temperature. When the Lithium-ion battery is fully charged, it contains sufficient energy to use
about four times for electrical stimulation treatment.
Notes:
- If the device is not fully charged when you start a treatment, the battery may run out during
the treatment.
- Treatment is not possible when the device is charging.
- To ensure normal use, please fully charge before the first use.
- If the indicator light turns orange, or the mobile application prompts that the battery is empty,
please charge the device.
1. Place the main device in the storage case correctly.
2. Insert the micro-USB plug of the adapter cable into the micro-USB socket of the storage case.
