Legend ‘70s – User Manual
Modifying a Program
CLAVI section
The
CLAVI menu includes all the configuration parameters of the
CLAVI module (described at page 13 ).
To access this menu, enter the EDIT PROGRAM screen (page 28 )
place the cursor on the CLAVI field and press the data entry dial or,
alternatively, hold down either the [Clavi 1] or [Clavi 2] buttons for a
short while (point 6, page
14 ).
Parameter name Description
Timbre
[Clav 1]
[Calv 2]
Name of the selected timbre. The timbres simulates the two most famous models of the Clavinet
piano. Use the
Legend ‘70s Editor
application to adjust the selected timbre. Changes made
through this application affect all Programs.
Values: Clavi 1 (D6 model), Clavi 2 (E7 model)

Brilliant Control
[BRILLIANT]
Enable / disable the high-pass filter, that starkly increases the sound brilliance.
Values: OFF, ON
Treble Control
[TREBLE]
Activate / deactivate the band-pass filter, very rich on the treble frequencies.
Values: OFF, ON
Medium Control
[MEDIUM]
Activate / deactivate the low-pass filter, with cutoff frequency on the middle frequencies .
Values: OFF, ON
Soft Control
[SOFT]
Enable / disable the low-pass filter, for a more closed or muffled sound.
Values: OFF, ON
C D Control
[C D]
Pickup configuration.
Values:

C: activate a single pickup.

D: activate both pickups.
A B Control
[A B]
Pickup configuration.

If the parameter C D = C
Select pickup.

A: lower pickup

B: higher pickup

If the parameter C D = D
Phase selection.

A: pickups in same phase.

B: pickups in opposite phase
NB
Combining the values of the parameters C D Control and A B Control there are 4 possible sound
configurations. For further information, read point 4, page 13 .
Mute
Activate / deactivate the sliding damper.
Values: OFF, ON
Mute Value Maximum position of the mute (sliding damper), than decreases the sound decay time.
Values: between 30 and 127

The following table includes all the available parameters of the CLAVI module. The knob or button that allows direct
control of the parameter through the panel is written under the parameter name.
