position of the spacers during the squeezing process and correct it if necessary.
Pay attention to your fingers! Improper operation may result in injury
.
Now insert the hook end of the pump lever into the pumping device and pump
the upper crush tube evenly and slowly as long downward until both spacers rest
completely on the bottom crush tube
.
If the upper crush tube still cannot be pumped down far enough, although all
settings are checked and correct, then it may happen that the spindle screw is not
screwed far enough into the cylinder piston. Drive the upper crush tube a little
back, insert the ratchet end of the pump lever into the socket for the hydraulic
cylinder, hold the cylinder piston and turn it with the ratchet further out
.
Only grab the cylinder piston when the upper crush tube is stopped; otherwise there is a
risk of pinching hands/fingers
.
When both spacers rest on the lower crush tube after renewed lowering of the upper crush tube,
then screw the back-pressure screw all the way down.
Finally relieve pressure by opening the drain valve of the hydraulic cylinder. For longer periods, the
crushing pressure must only be exerted over the back-pressure screws.
Once the work is completed, the squeezing device must be ascended again according to the
description
.
For the transportation and security of the squeezing device, the lower crush pipe must be secured
by emptying the lower crush pipe and fixing it with the back pressure screws.
This way, it cannot get lost or fall out.
For 575024 only: Use of distance adaptor 160-225 mm
For pinching off pipes with SDR 17.6 and an outer pipe diameter of 160 mm, the spacer adapter must
be transposed from the top position in the frame into the lower position.
