13.6.1 Syntax

put [local_file] <remote_file>

13.6.2 Scope:

Client mode only.

13.6.3 Description

The

put

command requests TFTP to transmit a file to the remote host

previously specified using the

connect

command.

By default, the file is named remotely as the local filename but by
specifying a second filename, an implicit rename is performed.
