Are you thinking about purchasing a Vinotemp freestanding cooler?
Here are some helpful guidelines, so you know what to expect
once you get your cooler home.
• Exercise caution when moving and installing the unit. The cooler is
heavy and may require two or more people when moving the unit to
prevent strain or injury.
• Ensure that the wine cooler remains in the upright position during
transportation.
• Once you have the cooler in the optimal location, it must rest
UNPLUGGED for a minimum of 24 hours before use.
• To ensure proper ventilation for your appliance, the front of the unit
must be completely unobstructed. Do not place any objects on
top of the cooler.
• Choose a well-ventilated area with temperatures that do not exceed
90°F, away from direct sunlight and sources of heat
(stove, heater, radiator, etc).
• This unit is intended for indoor use only and must be installed in an
area protected from the elements.
• Your cooler will need its own separate, grounded plug that is not
controlled by a switch or pull chain. We do not recommend you use
an extension cord to power your unit.
• You may need to unlock the control panel when first using your
cooler. Instructions on how to unlock the control panel can be
found in each cooler’s Owner’s Manual.
• To protect against electric shock, do not immerse appliance, plug
or cord in water or other liquids.
• For indoor, household use only unless otherwise noted. Any other
use will void the warranty.
• Please note that these general instructions are provided as a guide
and do not take the place of an Owner’s Manual. Your appliance
will arrive with its own Owner’s Manual with more detailed
installation instructions.
