3.3. Collimator adjustment / Regolazione del collimatore
Disassemble the ID E40 centering tool.
Unloose the three hexagons present on the
lower part of the collimator.
Assemble the collimator and fix it with three
lowered plain tip dowels M6x14 cod.71687, by
tightening them alternatively.
Smontare l’attrezzo di centratura ID E40.
Allentare i tre esagoni presenti sulla parte
inferiore del collimatore.
Montare il collimatore e fissarlo con tre grani
punta piana ribassata M6x14 cod.71687,
stringendoli in modo alternato.
3.3.1. Adjustment of the parallel shutters / Regolazione lamelle parallele
Select Manual Fluoroscopy and set min. kV and
mA.
Move the iris outside the field.
Put the parallel shutters at almost the min.
closing by placing them horizontally.
Operate on the collimator position so that the
horizontal line of the ID E40 disk is in the middle
of the shutters.
Check that, with clockwise and anticlockwise
rotation of the shutters, the position of the line in
the middle of the shutters does not change.
Perform some openings and closings of the
shutters in different positions and check that the
movement of the shutters is symmetric.
Tighten the three hexagons present on the
lower collimator part by checking that the
collimator position does not change.
Selezionare Scopia Manuale e impostare minimi
kV e mA.
Portare l’iride fuori dal campo.
Portare le lamelle parallele quasi alla minima
chiusura, posizionandole in orizzontale.
Agire sulla posizione del collimatore facendo in
modo che la linea orizzontale del disco ID E40
si trovi in centro delle lamelle.
Verificare che, con rotazione oraria e antioraria
delle lamelle, la posizione della linea al centro
delle lamelle non cambi.
Eseguire delle aperture e chiusure delle lamelle
in diverse posizioni e verificare che il movimento
delle lamelle sia simmetrico.
Stringere i tre esagoni presenti sulla parte
inferiore del collimatore, verificando che la
posizione del collimatore non cambi.
3.3.2. Iris adjustment / Regolazione dell’iride
Unloose the three hexagons present on the
higher part of the collimator.
Select Manual Fluoroscopy and set min. kV and
mA.
Put the parallel shutters outside the field.
Control x-rays and at the same time control the
iris closing.
Adjust the support position so that the iris is in
the middle of the cross.
Open and close the iris by checking that during
the movement the input in the field is
homogeneous and linear on the whole
perimeter.
Tighten the three hexagons present on the
higher part of the collimator by checking that the
position of the collimator does not change.
Allentare i tre esagoni presenti sulla parte
superiore del collimatore.
Selezionare Scopia Manuale e impostare minimi
kV e mA.
Portare le lamelle parallele fuori dal campo.
Comandare Rx e contemporaneamente
comandare la chiusura dell’iride.
Regolare la posizione del supporto in modo che
l’iride si trovi al centro della croce.
Aprire e chiudere l’iride verificando che durante
il movimento l’entrata in campo sia omogenea e
lineare su tutto il perimetro.
Stringere i tre esagoni presenti sulla parte
superiore del collimatore, verificando che la
posizione del collimatore non cambi.
