Sky Sensor Installation Guide

Sky Sensor Base

The roof-mounted Sky Sensor

provides external light level data

and infrared temperature data to the

View system to allow optimization

of tint levels for each zone. The

assembly includes the Sky Sensor

with a 4 ft. length of CAT5 Ethernet

cable attached.

Tools and Materials Required

3/4” Rigid Metallic Tubing (RMT) for roof mast, brackets, flashing and sealant.

#2 Phillips screwdriver

3. Cutting, Drilling and Deburring tools.

Wire stripping tools.

Wrenches.

6. Grounding wire: 12 AWG THHN green or green/yellow
7.

300 ft Unshielded Plenum CAT5 ethernet cable spool, modular connectors and crimping tool.

8. Standard Junction box (10 x 10 x 6”), CSS Only
