3. Connect the shielding of the CAN bus cable to the
gateway: See page 13.
Connecting the plug-in attachment
The plug-in attachment (standard delivery) must be
plugged in. Do not connect the plug-in attachment until the CAN
bus cable has been connected.
If the gateway is at the beginning or end of the CAN bus:

If the gateway is not at the beginning or end of the CAN bus:
Plug in the plug-in attachment without the terminator. Use the plug-in attachment for looping through the
CAN bus.
