Switch OFF the boiler before maintenance and
cleaning work and allow the boiler to cool down.
Undo the union nut on the light barrier at the boiler.
Undo the top of the sight glass and clean the sight
glass.
2.
Undo the wing nuts on the light barriers at the feed.
3.
Clean the light barriers.
4.
Repeat on the opposite side of the boiler.
5.
Proceed in reverse order to reassemble the light
barrier.
Note
The light barriers must be positioned centrally in
front of the sight glass.
6.
Switch the boiler ON again.

Note
Because fuel is stored there, storage rooms and con-
tainers for wood pellets or woodchips are not places
into which people should enter or spend time.
Do not enter the fuel store for four weeks after filling.
