DHW priority control
The priority control of cylinder heating can be adjus-
ted individually for each heating circuit. It is set for
each heating circuit via code A2 in the heating group.
It is used to determine which heating circuit is affec-
ted by priority control during cylinder heating.
–
With priority control:
During cylinder heating, the set flow temperature of
the relevant heating circuits is set to 0 °C.
The mixer closes. The heating circuit pump is
switched off.
–
Without priority control:
The heating circuit pump continues to operate with
the same set value.
–
With reduced priority control:
During cylinder heating, the set flow temperature of
the relevant heating circuits is set to the set value
of reduced heating mode.
■
Heating circuit pump logic (economy mode)
The heating circuit pump is switched off (set flow
temperature set to 0 °C) when the outside tempera-
ture exceeds the value selected via coding
address "A5".
■
Extended economy mode
The heating circuit pump is switched off and the set
flow temperature is set to 0 °C if one of the following
criteria is met:
–
The outside temperature exceeds the value selec-
ted via coding address "A6".
–
The set room temperature is reduced via coding
address "A9".
–
The mixer has been closed for 12 minutes (mixer
economy function, coding address "A7").
–
The actual room temperature exceeds the value
selected via coding address "B5".
■
Frost protection
If the outside temperature falls below +1 °C, a flow
temperature of at least 10 °C is ensured. To adjust
the setting, see coding address "A3", variable frost
protection limit
■
Transfer excess heat
The heating circuit is regulated to the set max. flow
temperature (coding address "C6"), provided that:
–
the boiler is set to status "Transfer excess heat"
and
–
coding address "F3" is set to 1.
■
Screed drying function
This function enables screeds to be dried. For this,
observe the screed manufacturer's instructions.
When the screed drying function is activated, the
heating circuit pump is switched on and the flow tem-
perature is held at the selected profile. On comple-
tion (30 days), the heating circuit with mixer is regu-
lated automatically according to the set parameter.
EN 1264 must be observed. The report to be provi-
ded by the heating contractor must contain the fol-
lowing details regarding heat-up:
–
Heat-up data with the relevant flow temperatures
–
Max. flow temperature achieved
–
Operating state and outside temperature at hand-
over
Various temperature profiles can be set via coding
address "F1".
The function continues after a power failure or after
the control unit has been switched off. "Heating" is
started when the screed drying function is finished or
if code "F1:0" is set manually.
