Venting the fuel oil filter and suction line
Prevent dry-running damage to the fuel oil pump.
Vent the fuel oil filter and suction line before commis-
sioning. Use an oil suction pump to draw in fuel oil until
the suction line and fuel oil filter are completely filled.
