FEATURES
• Access control for a single door with a single code;
• Personal access code for “Programming Menu” (from 4 to 8 digits);
• Programming of the working time of relay from 1 up to 99
seconds or permanent (“remain open time”);
• Possibility to activate the relay by shorting terminals SW
and – . Relay will operate for the programmed time;
• Electronic call tone by pressing directly Clear/Bell button (re-
quires Art. 512A connected on terminals CA and );
• Audio and visual warnings during the keypad operation. Each
time a button is pressed, the keypad emits an acoustic signal
(buzzer). Two LEDs provide warnings for the following operation:
» Green LED on for 2 seconds = correct code entered;
» Red LED always on = programming mode active.
• Self protection against unauthorized access attempts. In case
is entered a wrong code, the keypad emits a continuos melo-
dy (4 seconds approx) then, continuing the insertion of wrong
codes, the duration of the error signal is increased each time
so that each access attempt requires more time.
• Dry contacts Relay. Are available the terminals C , NC and NO
with 24Vac/dc@5A;
• Power requirements for Art. VX810N: 12V/24Vac/dc,100mA Max.
INITIALIZATION
When the installation is concluded and carried out according
to the wiring diagram, power up the system and program it by
programming flow chart.
RETURN SYSTEM TO PRESET ENGINEER’S FACTORY CODE
• Turn off power to code lock;
• Keep ENTER button pressed while turning the power back on;
• Release ENTER button;
• The engineer’s code is now set to 11111111 (eight times one).

OPERATION
• Enter the “Relay code” (door opening code) then press the
ENTER button:
» If the code is correct, the relay switches on for the pro-
grammed time and the LED will illuminate for 2 seconds
approx;
» If the code is wrong, the buzzer emits a melody having a
duration of 4 seconds approx. Each wrong code insertion
increases the duration (self- protection);
• To enable the sounder Art. 512A, press the button Clear/Bell
before press any other button: the sounder will ring 3 times.
If for the relay is set the mode “Remain open time”, to switch the
relay once switched the first time, enter the relay code again the
press the Clear button.
