The dry contact alarm can be NO (normally open) or
NC (normally closed).
For further information refer to the relative chapter
(Web Interface manual, Digital I/O Page).
All alarms have a reach of 200m (656ft)
max, which can be obtained using a
shielded cable with a minimum section of
0.25mm² (23AWG).
6.5.2 Relay connection
The relay is usable with the specifications
described below. Working voltage: to
30Vac or 60Vdc. Current: 1A max. Use
suitable cable sections with the following
characteristics: from 0.25mm² (23AWG) to
1.5mm² (15AWG).
Due to the absence of polarity, both terminals of the
same relay can be connected either to alternating or
direct current voltages.
6.5.3 Washing system connection
For further details on configuration and
use, refer to the relative manual.
When the washing system is enabled, the
relay is used exclusively for the activation
of the pump (Web Interface manual, Washer
System Page).
7 Switching on
The automatic pre-heating (De-Ice) process
could be started whenever the device is
switched on and the ambient temperature
is below 0°C (+32°F). The procedure is
necessary to guarantee correct operation
of the devices even at low temperatures.
The duration ranges depending on
environmental conditions (from 60 minutes
to 120 minutes).
The unit is switched on by connecting the power
supply.
To switch off the unit disconnect the power.
7.1 First start-up
Make sure that the unit and other
components of the installation are closed
so that it is impossible to come into contact
with live parts.
Make sure that all parts are fastened down
firmly and safely.
