Final operations

Introducing air to 

the hydraulic 

cylinder

The lifting arm hydraulic cylinders need a cushion of air to enable them 
to function properly, such as folding out on a slope. Proceed as 
follows:

Couple the machine to the tractor. 

Do 

not

 couple the PTO shaft.

Connect the machine hydraulics to the tractor.

Position the main frame horizontally with the tractor's power lever.

Use the tractor's hydraulic control unit to fold back the lift arms.

Switch off the tractor and secure it.

Close the ball valve.

Remove the valve cap on the lifting arm hydraulic cylinders.

Press against the valve with the valve cap until air can no longer 
be heard flowing in.

Close the valve with the valve cap.
