Each channel has the option of enabling or disabling the check against the Sine System Limits .
Normally at least the control channel, and possibly all channels, will have this box checked. In some
situations where the acceleration to be controlled is located somewhere on your part under test which
has a resonance, you can use a second accelerometer on the shaker head to make sure the shaker
remains within the safe operating range.
You must always select at least one channel to check against
the system limits.
Individual Channel Limits
The +/- Abort parameters define the number of decibels the monitor channels are allowed to be above
(+) or below (-) the desired acceleration level. These abort lines may be enabled individually for each
input channel by selecting the "Enable" check box for the appropriate channel number. When one of
the monitor channels exceeds these limits (and that channel has the abort limits enabled), the test will
abort.
You must always have individual channel limits enabled for each channel selected as a control
channel.
Load Input configuration
If you wish to load a specific Input Configuration (one that was saved in the Configurations Inputs
tab), place a check in the box next to "Load this Input Configuration with the test". By clicking on the
Browse button, you will be asked to choose which configuration to load. This is useful if you have a
certain accelerometer setup that you would like to use for this test.
