levels 2, 3, and 4 are each run a total of 10 times). Loops can be nested up to 10 levels deep to create
more complex repeating patterns.
A loop pointing to a resonance table will repeat only the tones in that table and the
will appear only on the first pass. If you want to select resonance
frequencies on every pass, make the "Loop to" point to a sweep level immediately before the
"Resonance Table" level. Then each pass of the loop will run a sweep followed by the dialog box to
select resonance frequencies, followed by the selected fixed-frequencies.
The "Calibrate Ch2" level type is specific to the VR-632 accelerometer calibration option. During this
level the desired amplitude and frequency setpoint are held on the control accelerometer, and the
accelerometer sensitivity setting for the accelerometer on channel 2 is automatically determined and
entered.
The next five modifier types are for creating and saving reports while the test is running.
The "View Report As" function, and the "View Report" function are used to have the software open a
report when that level of the test is reached. A report template must be added to the Schedule Level
by clicking on the "Browse" button and selecting a report template. When "View Report As" is used,
you will be prompted to give a report name when the level is reached. The report template that was
selected (using the Browse button) will then open and a copy will also be saved to the hard drive of
your system with the name supplied. If the "View Report" function is used, a report will open showing
the report template selected by the "Browse" button and a copy of the report will be saved using the
standard naming convention of the VibrationVIEW software.
The "Save Report As" function, and the "Save Report" function are used to have the software
automatically save a report without opening the report for viewing. A report template must be added to
the Schedule Level by clicking on the "Browse" button and selecting a report template. When "Save
Report As" is used, you will be prompted to give a report name when the level is reached. The report
template that was selected (using the Browse button) will then be saved to the hard drive of your
system with the name supplied. If the "Save Report" function is used, a report selected by the
"Browse" button will be saved using the report template and the standard naming convention of the
VibrationVIEW software.
The"Print Report" function is used to automatically print a report once a Schedule Level is reached. A
report template must be added to the Schedule Level by clicking on the "Browse" button and selecting
a report template. When the Test level is reached, a report will automatically be printed without any
prompting for names.
