How to Install the Module

1

Power down the Chassis.

2

Position the Module on Chassis Side Rails. 

3

If Module has Securing Latches, position Securing Latches at a 90°.

 4 Slide Module along the Side Rails. Verify Module is properly aligned and does not 

catch on Side Rails.

 5 Slide Module into Card Cage. Press firmly to securely connect Module pins with 

Backplane Assembly Connectors.

 6 Press Securing Latches closed and place Securing Latches in Locked Position.
 7 Hand tighten Captive Screw on each side of Module.
 8 Securely tighten each Captive Screw to ensure Module is properly grounded via the 

Chassis.

NOTE

The securing latch must be placed in the unlocked position - pulled out and away from 

the latch mechanism.
