2 Setting up Your CT-X

Administration menu

From the

Administration menu

, you can do several advanced admin features, including:

Rebooting the unit

Updating the firmware

Loading settings from a file

Saving settings to a file

Resetting the unit to factory defaults

Rebooting the unit

Select

Reboot

to reboot the CT-X. A pop-up asks you

to confirm, click

Reboot

again and the device will

restart.

Updating the firmware

If you have a firmware file from

VIAVI, you can update your unit.
Select

Update firmware from file,

then select the firmware file on your

computer.
Select

Update Now

from the pop-

up. The update process could take

several minutes.
When finished, a pop-up will confirm

the update was successful and ask if

you want to reboot the unit.
Select

Reboot

to confirm.
