Using Spectrum Analyzer

Channel power measurement with spectrum analyzer 

 

Channel power measurement result shows channel power and spectrum density in a user specified channel bandwidth. The peak to 
average ratio (PAR) is shown at the bottom of the screen as well. The shaded area on the display indicates the channel bandwidth. 

 

NOTE: 

If the Trace View is set to Off, the Channel Power, Spectral Density, and Peak to Average Ratio is not shown. If the 
Trace View is set to On and the Trace Type is selected other than Clear Write, the Channel Power, Spectral 
Density, and Peak to Average Ratio is shown with value and "*" at the end of the value. 

  

 

Occupied bandwidth 

The Occupied Bandwidth measures the percentage of the transmitted power within a specified bandwidth. The percentage is 
typically 99%.
