PROCEDURE

10.

Press 

Start

 to start the Altitude Indicator Zero 

procedure. Wait until the test set indicates it has 

a valid signal.

11.

The test set is now simulating 0 ft at the end of 

the ALT-9000 RF coaxial cables. 

To compensate for the aircraft antenna height at 

touch down, select the 

Altitude Offset

 field. 

Using the +/- key or numeric pad, adjust the 

Altitude  Offset

 field until 0 ft is displayed on the 

aircraft altitude indicator.   

STEP

PROCEDURE

12.

Select 

Save & Return

 to store value and return 

to the Info Screen window. Select the 

Done

 key 

to return to Test Setup (General Tab). The test 

set is now ready to perform the Linear Altitude 

Ramp Test.
