Checking NMS State

In the

Main Menu

The NMS state is shown in the

NMS Login State

variable. If the modem

has completed the NMS login procedure, the variable should show

Terminal Logged In

. If it does not indicate this, there is either a fault

in the system or the modem has not waited long enough to complete
the login process. The

Terminal State

should show that the modem is

in the

Transmit Enabled

state. Any other state indicates a problem in

the system. Press
