Real-Time Network Management System (RtNMS)

5.5.1 Overview

This server (a blade in the ABS) communicates with the NMS and MCD
II to receive data about the VMTs in the network. The RtNMS sends

PCMs to the VMTs to conduct power and frequency control using
algorithms that adjust the transmit power and frequency of all the

VMTs in the network. RtNMS software is pre-installed and tested at the
factory and it is field-upgradeable.

The RtNMS runs on a blade installed in the ArcLight Blade System.
