5.2 Installing the M.2 SATA SSD Module
Step 1
Remove the bottom plate from the VIA AMOS-3007 as described in
.
Step 2
Align the notch on the M.2 SATA SSD module with the counterpart on the M2_1 slot., then insert the drive at a
30° angle. Once the M.2 SATA SSD module has been fully inserted, push the module down until the screw hole
is aligned with the standoff hole. Then secure the module with the provided screw.

Step 3
Prepare the M.2 SATA SSD thermal pad included in the package. Paste the thermal pad onto the top of the
controller chip on the M.2 SATA SSD module.
Step 4
Peel off the remaining protective (plastic) cover of the M.2 SATA SSD thermal pad.
