6.1

Daily visual inspection by the user

WARNING!
Risk of injury from a defective locking device!

The locking device prevents undesired lateral movement of the Manu

Tel

G2 on the profile of the fork carriage. Uncontrolled movement of the
Manu

Tel

G2 during transportation could cause the load to slip and

cause serious injuries!

–

Replace damaged locking devices immediately.

–

If the locking device is missing, it must be replaced before start-up.

–

It is not permissible to use the Manu

Tel

G2 without a locking device.

NOTICE!

Every user must carry out a visual inspection prior to commencing the

task. If the test has negative results, immediately ban any further use of
the Manu

Tel

G2. Start-up may only be carried out after a successful

repair.

Personnel:

Driver of industrial trucks

Protective equipment:

Protective work clothing

Industrial helmet

Protective gloves

Safety shoes

Check the following points on a daily basis:

Carry out a function check of the locking pin:

Check the integrity of the locking pin.

Check the function of the spring element.

Check the lock boreholes:

Remove dirt and rust from the boreholes.

Function check of the retainer for the slip-on coupling:

Remove the locking pin and carefully attempt to pull out the slip-on coupling without

jolting it and without forcing it. The slip-on coupling must not come loose.

Function check for fork arm locking:

Check that the lever opens and locks correctly.

Function check of the slip-on coupling locking device:

It must not be possible to move the slip-on coupling when it is in locked stated.

Carry out a visual inspection to check for any deformation, cracks or damage.
