6. How to Set the V1407
Precautions for Settings
When setting the V1407, pay attention to the following:
•
Use under conditions of 10
◦
C to 35
◦
C of circumstantial temperature and 30% – 85% humidity.
•
Check the connection status of the power cord.
•
Do not connect multiple cords to the power supply.
•
Place the monitor on a flat area.
•
Connect grounded AC power cord.
•
Remove any obstructions near the unit as well as any products noted in 4-Safety Precautions.
Verify Before Use
Verify the following before measuring the patient’s condition:
•
Verify that there is no mechanical risk.
•
Verify all cable and sensor attachments are secure.
Maintenance and Cleaning After Use
•
Clean the monitor at least once a month using a soft cloth. Do not use thinner, ethylene, oxidant,
or lacquer since these may damage the product.
•
Keep the accessories clean of dust or foreign materials. For cleaning, use a soft cloth and mild
detergent.
•
Do not soak the accessories in liquid or detergents. Keep the product and accessories away from
any liquid.
