Step 3:
Wind a hex jam nut (36260 for models CJIB-3 and CJIB-6; 36266 for models CJIB-10 and CJIB-20)
onto each end of the I-Beam Tie Rod and the Bar Stiffener Tie Rod. Attach a yoke to each end of both tie
rods. Pin the bar stiffener tie rod (the longer tie rod) to the yoke brackets on the back of the upright with
clevis pins. Secure clevises with cotter pins. Bend the arms of the cotter pins around the clevis pins. Attach
one end of the (shorter) I-Beam tie rod to the top of the upright. Tighten jam nuts against yokes.
Step 4:
Align the bolt holes in the beam bracket of the Jib I-BEAM with the bolt holes in the beam
bracket of the UPRIGHT. Fasten the brackets together: 1) CJIB-3 & CJIB-6: Bolts (13109), washers (33008),
and lock nuts (37024); 2) CJIB-10 & CJIB-20: Bolts (13209), washers (33012), and lock nuts (37030). Support
the free end of the beam until the yoke at the free end of the I-beam tie rod is connected to the yoke
bracket with a clevis pin and cotter pin. Wrap the arms of the cotter pin around the clevis pin.
