Difficultstartup (02_04)

1.

Check fuel level.

2.

Check ignition spark plug condition.

A. If the engine is flooded.

Open throttle fully and press the starter button for 5

seconds and releasing it for other 5 seconds; follow the same sequence of steps de-
scribed above. If necessary, repeat this process but do not persist for too long with
the starter in the attempt to start the engine.

B. In case of battery or starter motor inefficiency.

Place the vehicle on stand «

E

make sure that the rear wheel is off the ground, turn the key switch «

» to "

ON

" and

use kick-starter «

».

C. If fuel tank is empty.

After refuelling the scooter, start the engine by pressing the

starter button «

» with the throttle at a minimum to provide maximum aspiration for

the tap. If the scooter fails to start even after taking the steps described above, contact
