If necessary, you can use the following menu to format the internal memory
card:

»
Format media mem.
When the internal memory card is formatted, such user data as messages,
in addition to the map data (page 53) used by
World Maps
all media files in
Gallery
(page 46) which have been saved on the internal
memory card, are completely deleted.
Before formatting the internal memory card, be sure to create a backup
copy of all necessary data onto your PC, using the backup feature
(specifically, the Vertu Content Copier application) of the Vertu PC Suite
(page 52), which is available by connecting your Vertu phone to your PC.
Initialising your Vertu phone:
You can reset the settings and all of your personal data stored on the
phone memory to their default state using the following menu:
>
Menu
»
Settings
»
Workshop reset
»
Restore all
If this menu is selected, your Vertu phone is reset to the state in which it
was shipped from the factory, except that the files and data stored on the
internal memory card (other than messages) are retained.
Before resetting your phone, you can use either of the following features to
create a backup copy of necessary data:
>
Using the backup feature of your Vertu phone under
Menu
»
Settings
»

and backup
»
Create backup
.
>
Using the backup feature (Vertu Content Copier) of Vertu PC Suite (page 52).
Note that if you use the backup feature of your Vertu phone (under
Menu
»
Settings
»
Sync and backup
»
Create backup
), the resulting file is saved
to the
Backup files
folder on the internal memory card (specifically under

»

»
Media
folder). Be aware that this copy will also be
deleted should you format the internal memory card. If there is a possibility
of formatting the internal memory card, we recommend that you create a
backup copy of necessary data also to your PC, using the backup feature
of Vertu PC Suite.

of the currently set alarm.

you will need to press the [End] key until the Home screen appears to
