Generator Wings Installation (P/N D1000-0020-0032)
The Generator Wings consists of two 12” extensions that increase the width of the platform 24” to
accommodate the Generac 30KW generator. They bolt directly to the outside beam on both sides. Dimensions
of each wing is 12” x 38”. There is a tube spacer included in the kit that is required when this kit is used on the
WIC GEN Combo Platforms. The tube spacer is discarded when this kit is used on the Outdoor Cabinet
Platforms. The Kohler 30KW generator does not require these wings. See
Generator Wings Installation Procedure:
1.
Bolt spacers on to both sides of the platform where the generator will be installed using provided
hardware. Spacers are needed when installing generator wings on the WIC and Generator Combo
Platforms due to the I-Beams.
2.
Bolt the wings onto the spacers on both sides of the platform using provided hardware.
3.
Cut and layout rodent guard on the platform to fit generator foot print.
4.
Lift and set the generator, up to 30 KW, onto the platform and rodent guard then anchor in place.
5.
Connect all conduits and cabling.
