Digital Output Data

– Data written to these registers is driven onto the digital

port signals on connectors J1 and J2. Data is not inverted. When a bit is set to
1, the signal line is driven high; when a bit is reset to 0, the signal line is driven
low.

To operate a port in output mode, you must first set the direction of the port to
output by clearing the appropriate bit in the DIOCTRL register.
