Please keep your batteries clean and dry and follow our guidelines.

• The connections of the batteries have to be fixed properly
• The fixations have to be greased regularly
• Rust at connections needs to be removed and after that, greased

Although the electronic wheelchair of Vermeiren needs a minimum of care, there are
a few directives to maintain, in order to guarantee a long life of the control unit.

Protect the control unit from moist. It can resist waterdrops in daily use, but it’s not
waterproof.

Do not expose the control unit to high temperatures and certainly not to a source of
heat.

Make sure that the control unit is sufficiently aired. This is especially important with
high surrounding temperatures and this to guarantee a long life of the control unit.

Please ask for a repair as soon as the controlpanel shows fissures or when the pro-
tection  around  the  joystick  is  damaged.  Further  use  can  lead  to  more  damage,
because water can penetrate the control unit in that case.
