list, select the authentication algorithm for
SNMP requests. You can select from the following:
MD5:
The Message Digest Version 5 (MD5) hash function is used to
determine that the message is from a valid source.
SHA:
The Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA) has function is used to
determine that the message is from a valid source
9. In the
Authentication Password
box, type a password for the user.
10. In the
Encryption Type
list, select the privacy protocol to encrypt the
contents of the data. You can select from the following:
DES:
The Data Encryption Standard (DES) algorithm is used to encrypt
the data.
AES:
The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) algorithm is used to
encrypt the data.
11. In the
Encryption Password
box, type a password for the privacy
protocol.
12. Select
Enable Traps
to send massages to a management system for
important events or status changes.
13. In the
Trap address
box, type the IP address of the management server.
14. In the
Trap community
box, type the community to use when sending a
trap message to the management system.
15. Select
Warm Start
to signifies that the SNMP device performs software
reload.
16. Click
Save
.
Configuring UPnP
► To configure UPnP
1. In a web browser, type the IP address of the IP camera in the Address bar,
and then press ENTER.
2. Type the username and password.
3. Click
System > Network > UPnP
.
4. Select
Enable UPnP
.
Note
To enable this function, a UPnP component must be installed on the
computer.
5. Select
Enable UPnP port forwarding
to allow the IP Camera to open the
