Where to use CAMSWITCH QUAD
CAMSWITCH QUAD is a network switch designed especially for
security and IP video network installations.
CAMSWITCH QUAD integrates the following features into a
single, compact device:

10/100 unmanaged network switch
–
Four auto-configuring network ports with Power Over
Ethernet (POE)
–
Fifth auto-configuring port for “downlink” connection
–
Safe POE power management
–
Unique, auto-configuring DC or AC power input
–
Rugged, wall-mountable enclosure
In the example shown above, CAMSWITCH QUAD provides all
four remote cameras with both their POE power supply and an
Ethernet connection. Power for all cameras and the
CAMSWITCH QUAD is sourced from a single low voltage AC or
DC supply.
