Regardless of the block diagram chosen, the following rules must be applied:
3.5.6 Recommendations for installing the hoses
The Hydro'R module is connected to the heating network at the tapping point via the insulated
hydraulic hoses (if the VMI® is not installed in a heated area). Implementation of the hoses must
comply with best practices to avoid causing any pressure drop in the hydraulic system.
3.5.7 Condensate drainage
Prior to commissioning, the Hydro'R module must be connected to a waste water network.
- Install the pneumatic coupling and its gasket on the VMI®
unit.

The pipe supplied should be connected to the pneumatic
connector under the Hydro'R module.

To create a siphon effect, create a loop with the pipe and
secure using a hose clamp.

Connect the drain pipe to the waste water network.
RECOMMENDATION
Before any commissioning of the VMI®, it is essential to fill the siphon with water
inside the Hydro'R loop (10 cl minimum).
3.5.8 Installing the humidity or indoor air quality sensors
Make sure to refer to the installation instructions provided with the sensor.
3.5.8.1 Sensor installation location
3.5.8.1.1 Preferred locations within a domestic or commercial environment
The recommendation is to install the sensor:
- At least 1 metre from the ground if the sensor is placed on furniture or on a shelf (using the
removable stand supplied with the Carbon model)
- At least 1.5 metres from the ground if the sensor is wall-mounted (attached with screws and
wall plugs)
To obtain data as close as possible to the user, we advise sticking to the recommended locations.
