NOTES

DO NOT

leave the charger unattended while in use.

Disconnect the battery and remove the input power from the

charger immediately if the charger or battery becomes hot.

DO NOT

attempt to charge incompatible types of recharge-

able batteries as this could result in permanent damage to the

battery and charger.

Do NOT

use automotive battery chargers to power the

charger.

DO NOT

allow water, moisture or foreign objects into the

charger.

Plug the charger into the AC power source.

The charger is powered up properly if the LED light between

the chemistry type and amperage selection begins flashing

green.

Choose your battery’s correct chemistry type (LiPo, LiHV,

LiFe, NiMH) using the selector button on the left of the

charger. If charging a NiCd battery, use the NiMH selection.

Choose the maximum charge current using the button on

the right of the charger. If you are unsure what current to

charge at, consult your battery’s manual.

Connect the charge cable to the front of the charger. Please

ensure that the red plug is connected to the red (positive)

port and the black plug is connected to the black (negative)

port.

Connect your battery to the charger. If charging a LiPo or

LiFe, the battery will not begin to charge until the balance

plug is connected to the balance port on the right side of the

charger.

The green LED in the center of the charger will stop blinking

and turn constant red. The individual cell voltage of each cell

(LiPo/LiFe) will begin to display in the center LCD window.

The LED will turn solid green when the battery is fully

charged.

When the battery is removed from the charger, the LED will

begin flashing green. The next battery can now be charged.

Please make sure the input power and battery type selected

are suitable for the batteries parameters.

Do not reverse the polarity of the charger leads as it may

permanently damage the charger or battery.

Do not change battery type selector switch when charging. If

this happens accidentally, the display will show “Err”. To

begin charging, unplug the battery from the charger, double

check your charge settings, reconnect your battery and

begin charging normally.

DO NOT

attempt to use batteries with more cells or a higher

total voltage than listed in the specifications.

DO NOT

overcharge batteries as this can cause permanent

damage. Do not use a charge current rate that exceeds the

safe levels of the battery.

If possible, charge your batteries in a fire resistant container

such as a LiPo sack, or a ceramic or metal container.

DO NOT

place the charger or battery on flammable surfaces or

near combustible materials while in use such as carpet, a

cluttered work bench, paper, plastic, vinyl, leather, wood, or

inside an R/C model or full size car.

Allow the charger and battery to cool down between charges.

Always disconnect the charger from the power source when not

in use.

If you have read these precautions and do not completely

understand or have any questions regarding them, please
