15. Pickup Bumper Installation: See Dwg. 6072
Bumper is installed to rear hinge assembly; optional bumper brackets available from
factory.
16. Grease all fittings located at all pivot points and repeat every 90 days. See lube & service
chart Dwg. 40260.
17. Safety decals must be installed as follows:
Two "Caution 1-6 Instructions" decals, one each side of the pickup bed adjacent to the cab
in a visible location.
Two "Caution Stand Clear" decals, one each side of frame in a visible location.
These decals are for the safety of anyone who may operate this unit and is intended to
protect all parties from potential liability.
VENCO CONTRACTOR HOIST - MODEL VC-6D
The installation of a VC-6D hoist is identical to the VP-6R hoist with the following exceptions:
1. The rear pivot angle is welded to the truck frame.
The upper rear hinge assembly is welded to rear of contractor body. See Dwg. 6250.
2. The contractor's upper lift shaft assembly is also welded to the understructure of contractor
body. See Dwg. 6250.
IMPORTANT
USE SAFETY PROP (OPTION) OR OTHER BED SUPPORTS TO SAFELY PROP TRUCK
BED IN 'UP' POSITION WHILE SERVICING HOIST.
