GENERAL SAFETY
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of fi re, electrical shock, or injury to persons, observe the following:
a. Use this unit only in the manner intended by the manufacturer. If you have questions, contact the manufacturer.
b. Before servicing or cleaning unit, switch power off at service panel and lock the service disconnecting the means to prevent power from being switched on
accidentally. When the service disconnecting means cannot be locked, securely fasten a prominent warning device, such as a tag, to the service panel. Do
not depend on any switch to disconnect power supply. Always unplug the power cord or turn off and lock disconnecting means as described.
WARNING:
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not expose to water or rain.
1. Read and follow all instructions and cautionary markings.
2. Disconnect all power before installing or servicing.
3. Follow all local safety codes in the United States and Canada, as well as the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) in the United States.
UNPACKING
1. Inspect for any damage that may have occurred during transit.
2. Shipping damage claim must be fi led with carrier.
3. Check all parts listed are accounted for.
MAINTENANCE
CAUTION:
To reduce the risk of injury disconnect from power supply before servicing. Always unplug the power cord.
1. Depending on the usage and severity, a regularly scheduled inspection should be established.
2. Check for unusual noises when circulator is running.
3. Periodically inspect and tighten all bolts, screws and set screws.
ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION
WARNING:
Installation and troubleshooting to be performed only by qualifi ed person(s).
CAUTION:
Support fan securely during assembly and installation.
1. Position fan with cord wrap and switch located on top.
2. Tighten two whiz nuts(A) on to one U-bolt(B).
3. Attach one U-bolt to one swivel bracket(C) and tighten using two nylock nuts(D).
4. Using holes provided and four whiz bolts(E), fasten one swivel bracket assembly to the air circulator tube.
5. Place one quick link(F) to the fastened swivel bracket and connect with one 6 foot chain(G).
6. Repeat steps 1 through 4 for second swivel bracket assembly.
7. On the bottom backside of the air circulator tube insert the S-Hook(H) in the hole provided. Attach one 6 foot chain to the opposite side of the S-Hook and
crimp both sides of S-Hook tight.
8. Mount air circulator to a structurally adequate ceiling beam or rafter. Using the remaining two threaded chain connectors, secure both swivel bracket assembly
chains to desired height.
9. Align air circulator housing in the desired position for airfl ow and fasten remaining chain to ceiling (fastener by others).
