VPT100 – FLASHLIGHT
1. Introduction & Features
Thank you for buying the VPT100! Please read the manual thoroughly before bringing this device into service.
If the device was damaged in transit, don't install or use it and contact your dealer.
2. Safety Instructions
•
Damage caused by disregard of certain guidelines in this manual or by user modifications is not covered by the
warranty. The dealer will not accept responsibility for any ensuing defects or problems.
•
Only use the device for its intended purpose. Using the device in an unauthorised way will void the warranty.
•
Avoid brute force when operating the device.
•
When the battery pack is not being used, keep it away from any other metal objects that may create a short circuit,
since this may cause sparks and lead to a fire.
3. Assembly and Use
•
Make sure the power switch at the back is set to “OFF”.
•
Insert an 18V battery pack (2) into the device (1) until the release buttons (3) click.
•
Set the power switch to “ON”. If the battery pack is charged, the lamp should light up.
•
Set the power switch to “OFF” to stop the device.
•
Press the release buttons (3) to extract the 18V battery pack from the device.
4. Bulb Replacement
1. Unscrew the lens cap by turning it counterclockwise. Be careful not to drop the lens.
2. Remove the light bulb by pushing it while turning it clockwise.
3. Insert a new bulb by pushing it and turning it counterclockwise.
4. Put the lens cap back on and fasten it by turning it clockwise.
5. Cleaning and Maintenance
1. The housing and visible parts should not be deformed, modified or tampered with.
2. Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
3. There are no user-serviceable parts except for the lamp.
