Should you wish to change a setting yourself, you may 
carry it out with the help of: socket screw keys of 3, 4, 5 
and 6 mm, or a 13 mm spanner. 
The following schedule  gives some idea of when routine 
maintenance should be carried out.

Tyre pressure rear wheels, optimum use 
450 kilopascal / 4.5 bar (65 psi) 

 

 

 

Re-tension the spokes (dealer or cycle repairer) 

  

Reset the drum brakes 

 

  

Check proper turning of front wheel and  
steering head 

  

Check the tracking of the wheelchair, to ensure  
the wheelchair runs in a straight line without  
any extra pushing or braking. 

  

Check upholstery of seat and back for wear  
and stretching of material.   

 

 

Complete inspection, safety test and  
maintenance should be carried out by 
your dealer or by Veldink Rolstoeltechniek. 
 



 
In addition to the above-mentioned routine maintenance, 
both the frame and the upholstery should be cleaned 
regularly. Light dirt can be removed with a solution of a 
gentle detergent in hot water; rub with the nap of the 
material. Rinse with clean water before you let the 
upholstery dry.
