Step 2 adjustment of the seat height (length of lower
leg), knee angle and ankle angle (fig. 16)
HEIGHT OF SEAT: Loosen both socket screws (1) one
turn (preferably not simultaneously, but e.g. first the right
side and then the left side). Turn the footrest crank (2)
upward or downward until the desired height has been
reached. Then hand-tighten the two socket screws (1)
again.

advice:
The height is correctly adjusted if you can put your hand
flat between the seat and the upper leg near the front
edge of the seat. If there is too much pressure between
the seat and the leg, the footrest has been set too low.
The footrest has been fitted too high, if the leg is not
supported by the seat.
KNEE ANGLE: Loosen the four socket screws (3) one
turn and move the footrest bracket (4) forward or
backward until the desired knee angle has been reached.
Then hand-tighten the four socket screws again.
ANKLE ANGLE: Loosen both socket screws (5) one turn
with a 5 mm socket screw key and turn the footrest (6)
until the desired ankle angle has been reached. Then
hand-tighten the two socket screws (5) again.

advice:
A ‘normal’ ankle and knee angle is 90° between foot and
lower leg and between lower leg and upper leg. Therefore,
for the depth and angle adjustment of the footrest the rule
applies that the footrest is at the same angle as the seat
and that the back of the footrest runs vertically parallel to
the front of the seat.
