Technical description
4.12. Capacitive voltage detecting system
An integrated voltage detecting system (IVDS) is installed
in the relay niche or the optional relay cabinet for the
determination and display of the voltage condition of the
switchgear.
The system complies with the requirements for capacitive
voltage detecting systems according to IEC 62271-213.
A phase comparison can be carried out by means of a phase
comparator for LRM systems according to IEC 62271-213 by
plugging into the measuring socket of the required phase
and earthing socket. The phase comparison test shall be
performed according to the manufacturer's indications.
A captive shroud protects the measuring sockets against
dirt and moisture.
Details can be found in the operating instructions of the
capacitive voltage detecting system used.
Danger to life due to electric current!
The function of the capacitive voltage detecting
system must be checked during each switching
operation!
All phases (L1, L2, L3) must always be checked!

4.13. Short-circuit indicator / earth fault indicator (option)
The circuit-breaker panel can optionally be mounted with
a commercially available short-circuit indicator or earth
fault indicator. Refer to the operating instructions of the
manufacturer for details.
The indicator unit integrated in a plug-in housing
(48 x 96 mm) is installed in the relay niche or the optional
relay cabinet.
