Note
: The total bandwidth for all streams cannot exceed 100%.
RTD Measurements:
Enable: enables the Round Trip Delay measurements to be displayed in the Results/Per Stream/Delay page. RTD
measurements MUST be done with the far-end test partner in loopback mode. If the far-end test partner is not in
loopback mode, but instead also generating/receiving traffic, then RTD MUST be disabled.
Disable: Displays n/a in the RTD measurements in the Results/Per Stream/Delay page. The user must disable the
RTD measurements if the far-end partner is not in loopback mode.
Sampling Period:
Defines how often the RTD (round trip delay) measurement is evaluated against the RTD threshold.
RTD Threshold:
Defines the maximum allowed round trip delay value. If the RTD value exceeds the threshold, an event
is logged with corresponding time stamp.
Total TX Rate:
This is the total transmit rate configured for all streams. If the unit links up to 1Gbps, but the total TX rate
is configured to 500Mbps, then the total number of streams when configured, will use the 500Mbps as the 100%
reference.
For example, 4 streams are configured with a 500Mbps total TX rate. The allocated rate for each stream can be
configured in the Per Stream/traffic menu. For the following values:
Stream 1: 10%
Stream 2: 20%
Stream 3: 30%
Stream 4: 40%
The transmit rate for the streams is:
Stream 1, 10% = 50 Mbps
Stream 2, 20% = 100 Mbps
Stream 3, 30% = 150 Mbps
Stream 4, 40% = 200 Mbps

configure the commands manually or automatically.
