Option Description
Stream ID Displays the ID number of the stream that will be used for the
RFC test.
The Stream ID is configured from the RFC Tests - Conf
screen.
Trial Duration Displays how long the test will run for each packet size. This
duration is used each time the test fails.
The Trial Duration is configured from the RFC Tests - Conf
screen.
Important: The trial duration must be between 2 and 10
seconds.
Dest MAC Address Displays the destination MAC address of the device that will
receive the RFC test.
The Dest MAC Address is configured for the selected
Stream ID from the Traffic Stream Profile on the Conf screen.
Dest Port Displays the destination port that will receive the test signal.
The destination port configuration setting is not supported
on the MPA.
Resolution (in
frame:) Sets the level of precision for the B2B test, by frames. The
value is the number of frames in the longest burst that the
DUT will handle without the loss of any frames. Valid values
are 1-812.
# Of Repetitions Enter the number of times the trial length should be repeated.
The RFC recommended repetition is 50, however valid
values are 1-100.
Statistics Table
Reports the test results. The system recovery results are
displayed by Frame Size (bytes) tested as follows:

Max Possible Number of Frames - The frame rate
(resolution) used as the throughput rate.
•
Avg Observed B2B Frames - Average frame count for
each type of data stream tested.
Start/Stop Test Starts and stops the Back-to-Back Burst test. The button
toggles between Start (when a test is not running) and Stop
