Protocol Tabs

OH CAPTURE
RESULTS

When a capture event is triggered, the 256 captured bytes are
displayed in both Hexadecimal and ASCII.

The

Frame

column displays the frame number for each of the

captures bytes. Frame numbers can range from -255 to 255,
depending on the Bytes After Trigger setting.

The

Hex

column displays each captured frame's byte value in

Hexadecimal format.

The

ASCII

column displays each captured frame's byte value

in ASCII format. (A hex value o 0, will be displayed as blank)

SONET Receive - SIG

Displays the following measurements of the incoming SONET signal:

Frequency

in Hz

•

Line Frequency Offset Received

in Hz and

PPM

•

Optical Power

source in dBm (this is an aggregate power level when the laser

module has multiple Optical lanes)

The per-lane optical power levels are displayed on the

MLD Receive - SIG

screen.

STS Pointer Frequency Offset

PPM

•

VT Pointer Frequency Offset

PPM
